“Look up there! Oh my God” – screams a girl in the middle of a large avenue in a megalopolis.
“What is it?” – asks a friend.
“Are you blind? It is on the top of that building.” – insists the first girl, turning to the one standing beside her.
“And how about you? Can you see it or not?”
“Of course” – the woman lies, having no idea what she is talking about. “It is right over there! Damn! I never thought that something like that could be possible!”
The pedestrians start getting curious and then one after another points out to the sky.
“Jesus!”
“This is a madness!”
“They should have thought of a more exquisite outfit before doing something like this in the public. I can even see the oily hair!” – said an effeminate citizen.
“Do you guys think they will make it? It is not an easy task.” – someone from the crowd asks.
“No. The airplane is not going to hold. It will fall from there in a question of minutes. Mark my words…
“What airplane?” – questions the first girl.
An innocent youthful trick could finish as a story on the first page of all national newspapers. It is really curious how we, human beings, behave. In society, we want to display our polished, educated and powerful selves, when the truth is that in the heads of most men and women entertainment is always coming first, whatever it might be (by the way, for some people work is also a kind of entertainment).
Once upon a time, three shining brains had decided to establish a website where each person could express his or her ideas. But long before Youtube’s success, there was just a simple idea, visualization, a story that everybody sees, but nobody believes (it is worse, of course, when everybody believes in something, but cannot actually see it).
The Americans finally remove their troops from Iraq, Palestinians and Israelis sign a peace treaty that should last forever, Putin doesn’t wish any longer to keep running behind his political power as soon as his second term as president finishes, South Korea will forgive the atrocities of the Japanese during the occupation. Furthermore: Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and Anna Nicole Smith are still alive, hidden in a secret city, and eBolg, this new website, is really world-shattering.
eBolg? To believe or not to believe? It is impossible not to. Because of its innovative and promising website, I can only imagine all the fun that this is going to be. I cannot think about anything else! It is like brainwashing.
The whole world has gone wild on the eBolg subject. But what is it? Is it like pointing to the sky to something that isn’t really there? Time will tell if we will indeed look at the same direction and believe and act as one.
eBolg, eBolg, eBolg, eBolg, eBolg…. Aaaahhhhhhh, eBolg! How long will I have to wait? Not long, I hope.
