Biography

Luciana B. Veit

I was born in 1976 in São Paulo City and I stayed there until 1998. I am married and have a son.

For over 10 years I have been following my gypsy heart gladly, exploring the world as an accomplished traveler and also living in super interesting countries. I have resided in Stuttgart for two years, in Dubai for four years and in Moscow for almost 3 years. Currently I am stationed in Seoul.

Other than my mother tongue Portuguese, I can speak English, German and French. On the top of that I took Arabic and some Russian classes.

No matter how much languages fascinate me, nothing thrills me more than writing. I do this for pleasure in the first place, but I can’t deny that I feel I must write in order to express all the things that cross my mind, be it in my objective weekly essays, or be it in the mixture of reality and fiction in my literary works – not to mention my absurd universe that you will – sooner than you think – be able to read in my theatre plays.

I hope I can count on your regular visits right here in my creative space. Perhaps you might want even to discuss aspects of my writing via e-mail, however please remember that the role of an author is to throw questions into the air and not necessarily to answer them all.
